Locals are defeated and bemused by the fact that some fisherman is so short sighted that he wants to make a fast buck when whale sharks are such long lived and much loved tourist attractions..





I have just looked into the eyes of death, pain, confusion and fear. I am not coping too well with this

Defeated divers know that there is nothing they can do for her anymore


Kerill Ezzy : Ever heard of shark fin soup? This is a result of hunting for shark fins for that soup - they just cut off the fins and then throw the 'left overs' away... alive and unable to survive. It is a common occurrence around the world but because sharks aren't 'cute' or land animals that people commonly see, it goes unnoticed by most of the Western world...I think it is time we all fought to make it stop.



Kerill Ezzy : That is the real tragedy of it so please tell everyone you know about what shark fin soup really is... a tragic, needless, painful death for so many creatures that have no notion of doing anything but surviving. This particular species only eats plankton - hence its name...

แต่พอมีปลาขนาดใหญ่อย่างนี้เข้ามา ซึ่งน่าจะเป็นของแปลก และหาโอกาสที่จะพบได้ยากที่ Anilao ที่สามารถสร้างรายได้จากการท่องเที่ยวดำน้ำได้มากมายมหาศาล กลับต้องมาตายอย่างไร้ค่าจากมนุษย์แกะดำที่มีจิตใจต่ำช้าเพียงไม่กี่คน


ไม่รู้จะด่ายังไงแล้ว มันเศร้าเกินบรรยาย .....
